Hi Community,
Lately my magnetic connector of the power cable doesn't work how it should. I have to press the end of the cable to the computer and it gets worse every day. If I just attach it, the cable leaves a small gap between the white cube with the light and the macbook. If I press it against the computer the gap closes and I have power again... Now I have taped it to the macbook with some scotch so I can write this article... Do you have any ideas how I could fix this? I searched the terms "cable" "magnet" and so on but there was nothing really helpful... Thanks very much for your answers, Bersling Last edited by bersling; 06-11-2009 at 05:21 PM. |

I would keep a close eye on that - there have been cases of fire from the magnetic connector area. see here MacBook Pro - Unibody MacBook Pro Fire! - Mac-Forums.com
