Just wondering...can someone simply point out the main differences between the new 15" Mac Book Pro from the old 13" and 17"? If anything does anyone know anything about the speakers in the new machine? Thanks.

CPU speed and graphics (size in MB & integrated/discrete) I think... Oh, and the 17" has the Express34 Card, the rest have SD slots... Display resolution... Firewire is back at 800... Up to 8GB RAM... The rest is negligible IMHO.

The low end 15" doesn't have dedicated graphics either.
Just the regular integrated card. So the price difference before, from Int to Dedicated graphics still exists lol.

Smart by them to exclude it. Lets people get a cheaper 15" but forces those who want a ded card to pay much more money.

The low-end updated 15" MBP has lost it's 2 separate graphic cards, but gained, among other things, a new battery and 2 more GB of RAM, as well as, a faster processor.

I bought a refurb low-end 15" MBP, which has the 2 cards but 2.4 GHz and 2 GB of RAM. Thinking of resale value it should hold it quite well if it has the 2 graphic cards.
