I want to buy speakers for my 13" Mac. I wonder if I have to buy speakers specifically for Mac or I can buy any laptop speakers? The thing is that ihome speakers are a little too expensive for me and I really do not know what other kind of speakers would be compatible with 13" Mac?

Pretty much any I think. Even MP3 player speakers would work with the right lead. I have a lead which plugs into the headphone port with RCA connectors which I can connect to my stereo speakers or TV.
