It's the 15" unibody MacBook Pro. My friend sat on the edge of it and now the top of the screen around the iSight is cracked. There is no damage at all to the actual screen, just the glass covering it.
Can I get the glass replaced without having to pay £800 for a new screen? I know the warranty doesn't cover accidental damage, but it wasn't exactly dropped from any great height, my friend basically leaned against it, and I've never dropped it or anything; I'm guessing Apple will refuse to subsidise repairs? Do you know of any companies I could get it fixed with on the cheap? I'm from Ireland. Thanks so much for reading EDIT I found this on eBay, do you know if this is what I need? If it is, it would save me a serious amount of money... Last edited by WillQuotes; 05-30-2009 at 05:37 AM. |
