MacBook - Macbook booted straight to 'Apple hardware test' screen

Mac Specs: Macbook White - 2.0Ghz Core 2 Duo - 4GB RAM - 120GB HDD - GeForce 9400M - OS X 10.5.7

Today my macbook booted straight to the 'Apple Hardware Test' (pics attached)
any ideas why it did this? No problems were found by im just a bit confused as to why it booted straight to the test!
