Battery life on new powerbook

I just upgraded to the new 15' PowerBook G4 1.5Ghz got one **** of a deal on it to i'd say paid 1375.00 and it was brand new still sealed in the box. doesnt have superdrive but figured at that price i'd live. but was wanting to know how long the battery should last?? just using the internet and word no heavy usage.

Apple states that it would last you for about 4.5 to 5 hours, depending on your usage. It can last shorter, or more.

School bought to many and been selling them to students cheap.

My PowerBook with the screen dimmed to half and power saving on gets 4+ hours when under a light load (email, chatting, writing papers.)
