iBook - cd drive causes os to fail

ibook clamshell

wont read dvd's hmm probably because its a cd rom... but still it froze it and now it wont restart

i hear the hard drive boot up but nothing happens and it doesnt load, checks for a cd but theres none there.... anyone know where i can pick up a new dvd drive for these things

There is a guide to replacing the drive here

Installing iBook G3 Clamshell Optical Drive

They list the DVD drive at $119, which is very expensive. Is that clamshell with or without a firewire port
