I am trying to connect my MacBook (white) to the TV. The TV is an older Sanyo and only has a coaxial cable coming out. I have connected the coax cable to the VCR/DVD (Emerson). From the VCR/DVD I have connected a yellow video cable in the space that says video in. That cable is then connected to the Mini DVI to Video Adapter and ultimately the Macbook. It should work, but the display isn't working. I went to System Preferences and clicked Detect Displays. The display screen icon shows in the upper right hand corner of the computer screen, but no image displays on the TV. Any advice?
QUOTE Thanks
