okay, im thinking of buying an ibook in september 05, but i dont really want to get the g4 cuz even the top of the range one is pretty "old" .. How long do you think it will take apple to release a ibook g5??

mid to late 2006 if were lucky, I doubt well even see a g5 laptop through 2006, if anything, maybe a dp g4 laptop, or dc.

Is it a laptop you want, or just something with a G5 processor? Laptops aren't suitable as a games machine you know...
