I have the new NVIDIA enabled Macbook white with 2 Gig of RAM.

I want to upgrade the RAM as I use it for music production - I have seen 4 gig of 667Mhz DDR2 RAM going for £30 which is, I'm sure, a good deal.

However, I have heard talk of DDR3 RAM. Does this work on a Macbook, or only a Macbook Pro?

Are there any better options than 4 gig of 667 Mhz DDR2 RAM available for my Macbook, be that by more RAM, or a higher speed?

Many Thanks,

Alex

Hate to burst your bubble but if you have the new MB with the DDR3 RAM then you can't use DDR2 RAM. The sockets are different. It won't fit.

Pretty much anything from this list should work.

I recommend crucial though. Might also want to check out their website to check for the lowest pricing.
