hey
i have my 1ghz PB with the original(i think) superdrive that burns crazy slow....i bought it like 2 years and a few months ago....i think its a titanium, i dont know.....i was wondering if i could obtain an 8x superdrive if i could throw that in there and see if that would work
might be more cost effective to buy an external burner, but i'd just kind of like to have it with me inside the powerbook whenever i go anywhere

PowerBookResQ does offer an (expensive) upgrade for 15-inch models, but I'm not sure about the 12 or 17-inchers.
