Last week I put a Apex 120GB SSD drive and 6GB of ram in my 3,1 MBP, after minor surgery (20 screws or so to open the case) and a few tweaks I had awesome performance increases.
2Gb and 4Gb chips being seen.

The ram is all being allocated.

The SSD specs

Xbench results with 2Gb ram and a stock 5400 HD

The images don't load.

Interesting bench results though. Does it "feel" faster, during general use?
