I need an external hard drive. What do recommend, and how about these two?

I want a Lacie 160GB FW400, I can pick this one up at the store.

Or a nice G-Drive 160GB FW400

Modules used since purchase on 7/27/02 until I removed them on 11/13/03, PM me for details.

I would go with the Lacie drive. Why spend $50 extra dollars?? Plus you can get that Lacie hard drive for $139 at www.macmall.com . I purchased that Lacie 160GB drive back in June and its been terrific so far and yesterday I just ordered a Lacie 250GB external which should be here today.

Looking for a PowerMac G4 for $500 or less USD.

Ok, so if I am going to order the Lacie here,

Does it come with a firewire cable?

I have a cable, but it has a regular end, and a small end. Do you think this will work? Maybe a small to big adapter?

Thanks for the help.
