Sorry if this has been covered before, but I can not get my head round it!
I've got: ibook G4 OS X 10.5.5 768 mb I have zero room left on my start up disc, so my Mac keeps telling me, due I think to vast amounts of music and Mp4 videos in itunes that i then dump into my iphone. Please could someone tell me the idiots, step by step, your as thick as a plank, way of shifting my i tunes onto a external hard drive. No matter which post i look at i cant route it correctly. I have a western digital usb 250 gb, ext drive ready to go. many thanks for your time, please take it easy on me. |

Its really quite simple, you just need to change the location of the library in preferences, then consolidate your library to move all the files and relink them
