PowerBook - Sound Not Working

Mac Specs: powerbook g4

I tried to use my itunes today and I realized the sound is not working. It wont work for any of my apps. I tried to reboot my powerbook and I got the intro music but that's it. The volume is all the way up. HELP

Try resetting to factory settings: Turn off your mac, unplug from power source, take out battery, then hold down the power button for at least 5secs.
