I just got a new G5 PowerMac. it only came with 256mb of RAM. I want to purchase RAM. What should I look for when purchasing new RAM.

first off for the powermac it has to be PC3200 DDR SDRAM 400 MHZ.
secondly, the g5 is very picky about the type of ram you put into it, i recommend google searches as there is a lot of threads about this, but crucial and samsung had to do testing for their ram so from what i understand they work quite well with g5's and then of course, there is apple ram. there are also other types that work, my friends all have mishkin ram in their g5's and it works, something to think about...
