PowerBook - "more" option freezes everything (contexual menu option problems)

when i ctrl+mouse click then try and select the "more" option my computer freezes for a second. i'm not sure why this is happening. it's been going on for a bit now. i'm trying to use CMTools but i can't access it without going to that "more" option. can someone help me?
