I found a place called freshbattery.com that sells MBP batteries for $30 less than Apple. Anyone used these guys and had bad or good experience with them?

I just got a replacement for my old Powerbook G4. I took a chance and went with the lowest common denominator. My order was via Amazon (actual vendor is BrilliantStore). The battery is "TechFuel" brand.

The fit is a 8.5 out of 10. It was not perfect (I had to push a little to get it in the case properly - but my case has been dropped many times and has a few dings).

It came with a full charge (bonus). I ran it until dead (3-4 hours, compared to the old battery which did about 30 min).

After a full calibration charge, Coconut Battery reported that I was about 5% to 10% over the advertised capacity, with 2 charge cycles on the battery (the original, and the one I put on it). After a few months the battery has shown no issues and works great.

Not sure what you mean.

I just did a search on Ebay and it came up with loads of MBP batteries.

It is exactly the same as my old one complete with Apple logo serial number etc.

Sorry should have been clearer. When you got it, did it have full capacity, were there any problems with the battery at all? What seller did you use?
