MBA Upgrade 120GB SATA to SSD Possible?
I'm thinking of ordering a new revision MBA 1.8Ghz with the 120GB SATA drive. I am wondering if there exists the possibility to upgrade it (at some point down the road) to one of the upcoming 256GB SSD drives or perhaps a 128GB Sumsung "OEM" SSD when the prices come down. I know very little about the storage interfaces with these MBA systems. Do the SATA equipped drives have an internal interface that is plug and play with SSD drives? Or are they different and therefore I would be stuck with 1.8 inch SATA platter based HDD options?
    Thanks!
    Dave

If you want to crack open your MBA and void your warranty, then sure, you can swap a regular hard drive with an SSD as SSDs use the same SATA connector.
