MacBook - iSight indicator light doesn't turn off

Its been a while now, but even when I turn my computer off or put it to sleep, or even update it. The iSight Indicator light stays on. When I try to use the camera in stuff like skype, photo booth, or even iMovie. I get no picture.

I need some help please....
