will this go inside my macbook? Im wanting a blu-ray burner and really perfer not to get external.

Would think probably not.

Just on a quick check, that drive is 12.7 mm in height. The ones I'm finiding for replacement drives are only 9.5 mm in height. The other dimensions are a match.

Even on the sales page in your link, it says MacBook Pro 17" only.
