Switching over Applecare on a MAcbook?

Basically i bought my first macbook in october of last year and enrolled that product with the applecare protection plan but since i broke that one and was replaced with a new one via house insurance i wanted to know if it was possible to transfer the applecare over to my current model?

thanks,
Jordan

Do a search on Apple's site regarding Applecare policies.
