I've been looking for a solution to stream TV Shows/Movies that I download to my TV. The movies and shows are generally in xvid/divx/mpeg format.

I recently saw a friend use his PS3 to wirelessly (if thats even a word) stream an episode of entourage over to his TV. Is there a piece of hardware I can buy (preferably very cheap) that can do this as well?

I tried a search.. maybe using back search words..

Thanks!

You can find an Apple TV for like 189. I am not sure you are going to find anything cheaper than that to do what you are looking for. An Xbox 360 (with Connect 360) would also work, but it won't be any cheaper. Your other option like the previous person mentioned is hooking your Mac up to your TV directly.
