I'm getting a replacement Macbook Pro Aluminium for my old Macbook Pro. The new MBP has FW800 and I need a FW400 (6 pin) connection for my HD Camcorder does anyone know where I can get adaptors to change from from FW400 to FW800. Preferably from some place cheap and in the UK. Also I have a Dell 24" monitor which has a full size Displayport socket at the back but the new Macbook Pros have only a mini displayport socket. Having looked on the Apple website and searched the internet I can't find a compatible cable or adaptor to change a mini Displayport socket to a full size displayport socket. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be a great help.
