I got my macbook in '06, never had any problems with it until a couple months ago. I started getting a lot of freezing, particularly when using the hotcorners to switch windows. On occasion I also get a horizontal line across the screen. However, the worst problem is the keys that no longer work. It used to be an in and out problem, where they would just randomly stop working, but now it seems to be permanent. The keys are: 8 i k , and the left and right arrows (if you're wondering how i'm typing this, i've been forced to use the keyboard viewer to type those keys)

I know my best bet is to go to an Apple store, but i'm currently in Europe until Christmas so getting something repaired here is crazy expensive compared to the States. So if there are any other ideas on how I could fix this please don't hesitate to respond.

Thanks in advance
QUOTE Thanks
