So me being the dummy I am had my coffee to close to my MBP. I accidentally hit the table and the coffee sloshed onto my trackpad and I now have a sticky problem. Any pointers on how to clean out this sugary, creamy, coffee mess and unstickify my trackpad buttons?! Thanks in advance.

I think you can go to iFixit.com they show you how to take it apart for installing other hardware you could use that for your track pad and once you get it open I would just use some rubbing alcohol to clean it.

Be weary of using rubbing alcohol on your actual trackpad. Alcohol is an abrasive substance and can deteriorate the trackpad. Get all the fluid out immediately if you want to have a working macbook.

Yes my name is Jaguar.
No, it is not a joke.
I don't find your "I'm a cheetah." joke funny.

Took it to a local certified Mac repair shop and the guy is going to honor my AppleCare on this and order me a new trackpad button. I guess showing up in uniform (I'm active duty Army) helped, he said normally any spills like this totally void the AppleCare and reg. 1-year warranty!

The first thing to do with any liquid spill on electronics is to remove the power and the battery, without moving the electronics too much. Often if left to dry, you can be lucky. The thing that kills is the creation of a short circuit, blowing some power circuitry.
