So the new macbooks, I want to talk positively about them with people not moaning. I love the new manufacturing process and the iPhone style screen, looks really new and professional.

Glass trackpad with multi-touch. I'm defiantly getting one

Why does this need (yet) another thread. The whole point of a forum is to hear different points of view.

I think the new MacBooks are great, and with the basline Mac below $1000 (if only just), a psychological barrier has been broken.

Because I want to talk about the manufacturing process and stuff. I don't a thread where gloss screen or firewire is even mentioned.

I really like them. I bought a new macbook just a couple of months ago and am a little annoyed with the GMA graphics. The new Nvidia card would really make a difference for me, but can't really do that now....oh well....

Same thing with me and my mini, I don't game much but I like to play once in a while and the graphics really lets it down. So I think that's gonna be a massive improvement. Can't wait to get down to an apple store to check them out.

The way they make the uni-body is interesting. Even my girlfriend was impressed. She still won't switch until they release a new pink one.

AirAddict, I am sorry that you are back in PC world for a week or so. It drives me crazy just using XP for games.

I think that people are moaning over small things and that in the future all of their complaints will be forgot. I for one, like the new upgrades especially the MacBooks. Apple have done a great job and people should be happy with what apple have done. The only one true negative is the glass display that designers/photographers are complaining about. I think Apple have calibrated their screen carefully. I for one can't wait for the weekend to pick mine up if I can get one.

I thought they were going to be under $1000, but they're higher than normal MB's. Worth it for the graphics.

The new MBs are more expensive and have much better in all ways. I think they are worth it. In Japan they are carrying the same price tag as the old books and the MBP also dropped. I paid 350,000¥ for my 17" the new top end 15" MBP is 288,000¥.

I have forsaken God and now worship the new MacBook Pro. It is also a sin to refer to the MacBook Pro as simply "MBP". As this is disrespectful. If you do so, your MBP will accidently be dropped in the tub. Doh!@#$%^T#$%&

I wonder what sticker I should deface my MBP with? I can think of anything that won't make me look like a freak at work. Oh well, I guess I will look like a freak at work.
