Hi there peeps.

Im interested in buying one of the new mac book pro's for my music production.

I wanted to run logic 8 and reason 4 mainly logic 8 on it.

Ive been speaken to a apple representative and he recomended for me the spec below -

2.8ghz
4gb
320GB hard drive
15inch

a few of my mates have told me that there is no need for that spec to run your set up and you would be paying alot, you can easily run your music programmes on a mac book?

I used to use mac years ago, then switched to PC's, i want to get back on the mac tip, so at the mo im just gathering up info and peoples opionions,

any help anyone gives is much appreciated.

A new macbook would do fine there. Get 4GB of ram for sure. I would go for the basic MacBook pro as you will have a bigger screen which I think is better in your case.
