Well, I don't know...I wanted to love it more than previous gen but until now, I still like the old design. Just one tone (silver) better keyboard layout. The new one is much more like Air version.

The old one has a sleek square design, but new one is rounded, curved, which I didn't like and two tone (black and silver).

The previous generation of keyboard layout and keys look more professionally designed if you look at closely. And this new one has black keys with little space between keys.

Just a first day review. It might changed but I am not sure. I wanted to buy 17" model and I think I would go with old macbook pro. Or I will wait further to see what improvements Apple will bring to new 17" line.

I am not sure if anyone else feels the same but these were just my personal thoughts. Maybe I will further wait for a couple of more years for even better design.
QUOTE Thanks
