MacBook - Can I put 1gb from my imac into my macbook?
They look identical, but I just want clarification.
I upgraded both of my imacs to 4gb and I have a couple1gb sticks sitting around. Can I add one to my intel macbook?

Mac Specs: MBP 2.53Ghz, Mac Mini G4 & iPhone 3G.
Which iMac do you have? It will work but the newer iMacs have a much faster speed that the current MBs.

The imac is from june 07 as well as the macbook.
I believe the imac ram is 800 mhz and the imac is 667. Will the ram clock down? Maybe I'll just pop it in and see if it recognizes it.
Thanks

yep indeed it is compatible and it will work. Pretty much the only difference is that your Imac will recognize 3gb of ram and you macbook can only do 2.
