A few days ago my macbook stopped reading some CDs. A disk will go in, and it sounds as though the computer is trying to read it for about 45 seconds, but then the CD is ejected without being recognized. This only happens with half of the disks or so....they're in good condition and haven't had a problem before this.

I made an appointment with genius bar, and my laptop is still under the 1 year limited warranty. Any idea how much it will cost and how long it will take if they have to replace the cd drive? Thanks.
QUOTE Thanks
