MacBook Pro - fan reving

I noticed my fan keeps on revving up about every 30 60 secs it revs up and down. Temps are around 40-57 and fans are ruining about 2000 per istat pro. I don't know if this is just coincedence but the mbp just did some. Upgrades this afternoon . I didnt notice this before the ugrades

2.93 27inch imac with ssd+2tb,2.6 XPS720 vista64 8gig_17 2.6 MBP with 4gig and 200gig 7200 rpm_ATV 160 gig_iphone32gs_AEBS_1TB timecapsule,and drobofs

Open Activity Monitor to see which program is hogging the processor.
