MacBook - always wants to restart

Hi,

Ive had my MacBook for about two years know and I think unfortunately it has decided to start slowly dying. I had it fixed about two months ago because the memory failed but now it keeps telling me to restart when ever I turn it on. The grey loading screen appears and after a few secconds i get a message telling me to restart by holding down the power button, this happens everytime I turn on the computer.

If anyone has experienced this themselves or has any advise it would be greatly appreciated.

15", 2.0 GHZ, 80 GB, 512 MB

it wanted to load some software and i didnt know what it was so it had to turn it off due to being unresponsive
