    Does upgrading ram void the warranty?
    I'm getting a new 2.5ghz 15.4 macbook pro on saturday and I plan on upgrading the ram to 4GB myself. will doing so void my warranty? thanks

    No, upgrading the RAM does not void the warranty. In fact, Apple posts a guide on its website detailing how to upgrade the memory yourself.
