I have a 1TB USB 2.0 drive I wish to use on my mbp. I've Zero erased it, however, when I try to format I get the error Resource busy. I'm running OS X 10.5.2. I've googled but no joy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Quickest thing to try is a reboot to release the resource.
