iBook - World logo?

When i turn on my iBook, it shows a symbol of the Earth, and i cannot log on.

What's the problem and how do i fix it?

Have you tried to boot using the option key ? Power, hold option key on keyboard and wait for your hard drive icon to appear. Make sure you click on that then the ->arrow pointing right and in theory if that was the issue it should solve it. If it does, go to your system preferences after it's booted and click on startup disc and check it's booting from your proper hard drive.
