Is it unusual for the left side of the Macbook Pro to be a lot hotter than the right?

Is the Airport card also on the left? Because it tends to be the hottest part of my Macbook.

Yes, the Airport card is mounted near the hard drive, which is also at the left of the trackpad.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

The airport card should most definitely not be the hottest thing on your Macbook or Macbook pro. It should never get over around 100 degrees F.
