Well Dad put my wifes' macbook ( core duo ) back on the table, but a smidge too close to the candles that were out for Dinner. So after she screamed when she found it five mins later we now have a book with two large melted holes in the lid and the screen gone right funny.. we can see through the screen to see the damge from the inside!

So what can we do? is it best just to replace the whole top lid? Any help would be great. all the best

Simon

Wow that is just wow. >_>"" I can't believe your dad. You don't put things like plastic near candles.

>_<" I don't know if applecare will cover that. >_>""" But I would bring it in anyways and ask them what they would do to repair it.
