Just wondering how the processor temp on your macbooks appear to be - im sure plenty of you have istat installed on your dashboard! mine tends to be around 57 and dont tend to have it sat on a hard surface whilst at home, just wondering if i can see a average sort of temp from you guys! and gals!

50 right now just going through the forums, but ive seen mine get up to about 75-80 and for some reason it lags so so much when it gets that hot, everything slows down and the graphics go all shuddery like the dock isnt smooth but ruggish. and the fans dont speed up untill after everything slowed down. So i installed fan control and it just speeds the fan up according to each temperature increase.

News flash. Your computer will shut down if it overheats. It will also ramp up the fans to deal with higher use and higher temps. Stop obsessing over things you don't need to be worrying about.
