Well it happened finally. I've never dropped an expensive item so I start with Mac
![]() In short my Mac took a fall out of my bookbag from about 2 feet. It was in a Neoprene case and still works ![]() The bad news is the frame has separated... see pictures here... http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...51&id=16833002 Is this covered under warranty (probably not) but figured I'd ask. How much am I going to shell out to put it back to normal...any ideas? It's about 3 weeks old and I'm loving it. I'm in Austria and will call my store and ask when I get home next week but just wondering what anybody else thought. thanks |

Take it to an Apple Store and ask them first. They may easily fix it for you with no or minimum charge. You can also check out the DIY costs and also how to do it here: http://www.ifixit.com/ Maybe there are less expensive places to do this, but they do tell you how to fix it, here... Noel |
