just want to clarify if the 17" MBP hi res screen have LED in them? is it only the hi-res ones that have LED, if that is the case.. thanx i did a search but could not find it clarify.. thanx in advance

All MBP's have LED backlit screens, but only the 17 inch is available in hi-res.

The 15'' macbook pro's all have LED backlit displays...

However, only the 17'' macbook pro HI-RES screen has LED backlighting...
