okay my friends macbook has this weird problem, im messing around with it but im not sure what would cause this.

when i open safari OR firefox and type in a web address it takes forever to think and then goes to the site really quickly after sitting idle for at least a few minutes. It is identical to my macbook which loads and runs everything 10x's faster.

anyone have any ideas?

any help would be awesome.....

just reinstalled firefox and that doesn't help at all.

nothing abnormal seems to be running in activity monitor either.

anyone got any ideas at all..........?
