Does anyone here watch movies on Macbooks? How is it for that?

Is the Macbook screen pretty dull/dark? How is it compared to like Dell notebooks?

I'm getting a MacBook soon, but at London Drugs, the demo model was playing a movie, and it looks pretty good!

yeah i watch quite a few on mine in both bright and dark conditions.. works great.. i mean its not the best of blacks like i get from my pioneer plasma or anything but it's tolerable

well with my experiance w/ dell latops they have very dull screens compared to the mac books!
THye are great for watching movies


MacBook 2.4ghz, 2gb ram, 140gb hd

are glossy screens brighter than matte screens? Is the MBP glossy screen brighter than the MB Screen?
