Thread: MBP Battery issue?

I am new to mac and this site as well, about a week now. You all seem to have lots of info to help one another and I am hoping you might be able to help me out too. I haven't seen this question as of yet so here goes...
I just got my first macbook pro 15" 2.4. When I charge up the computer fully and then turn it on, it only ever gets charged to 96%. Is any one else experiencing this? I am really currious to know if this is normal and that the computer takes 4% to start up, or have I got a shotty battery.
Thanks in advance for your help!!

You probably just need to calibrate your battery. Here is a link to apples website about battery calibration: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1490"Sure, I could compare PCs to Macs. But I make it a point to never argue about religion."
