AirPort Won't turn on

Hello-
My airport card won't turn on at all. When I go to select on it just does nothing. Could some extension be turned off or something?

Help please.

Is it installed correctly?

Go to apple menu-> about this mac-> more info->network

and see if your airport card is listed.

If it is, go to network preferences in system prefs. and see if you can switch it on there.
