robomcpho is on a distinguished road
Mac Specs: MBPro 2.6/4GB, 30in Apple Display, iMac G5/20, G4 Dual 1.25, G4 800, G4 PB 1.25, G4 Macbook, iMac G4

I have a external firewire 500 drive that i want to copy 100 GB of files to. (theyre coming from a 250GB external)

Thing is when i copy to the 500GB drive things go good for minute until it encounters a corrupt file, then i get an error message saying it cant write it and then i have to bail out or stop, which defeats the whole copy job...(OSStatus -36)

this is becoming painful...i suppose i can dig through and dump the bad file which is tedious...i got 100GB!!

Is there anyway to avoid this stop and start routine...I got work to do!

let me know!

thanks!
