I Jus bought a IBook G4 Off a friend. She dosnt know the password or name of the computer is there anyway i could re-started it?

If the log on password has been lost, you can reset it by reinstalling the operating system with the original install disk.

Does your friend have the Install CD that came with the iBook? Which version of Mac OSX is on the iBook?
