Another firmware problem. Printer and Textedit

Another problem has popped up for me since I got the firmware update. For some reason every time I open Textedit my MBP tells my printer to print the last document it printed! Even if it's completely unrelated to Textedit!! Anyone else had this kind of problem.
Coupled with my battery issue, this is getting really strange and by far the worst update experience I've had since I got my MBP. Is there any way to reverse a firmware update??"Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others"
