My 15" Powerbook aluminum 1.33 the hinge has become loose it still stays up.It has a lot of play in it about an inch and a half.My question is how can tighten the hinge? The Apple store says they will do it for $85.00 flat rate if no parts are needed. Any input would be great.

if you just want to replace them by yourself (hard difficulty), this is where you can get the hinges and they have very good step by step directions to follow. it seems it would be cheaper to do it yourself then give it to apple if you are handy with computers. thats just my .02.
QUOTE Thanks
