Thread: Powerbook G4 Memory?
10-21-2004, 08:53 PM #1kazukunGuestPowerbook G4 Memory?
I'm researching memory for a 12" Apple Powerbook G4 with PC2700
memory. Do I need memory made specifically for Apple computers or will
any PC2700 work?

Any PC2700 will work...
I recommend www.crucial.com as they have memory that has timing that's matched perfectly for your Mac.Roger Michaels

Sorry for hijacking this thread, I didn't want to start a new one with the same question.
I found this on Amazon:
This was what Amazon's memory finder came up with. What do you think of it? Is Viking any good? Problem is, I can either buy 2 of those for a total of 2GB, or only one of Crucial's, for a total of 1.25GB (Crucial's plus whatever came with my Mac).
I have a 15-inch 1.5 GHz G4 Powerbook, by the way.
